Sony has announced that the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 versions of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will receive exclusive content not found on the Xbox editions.

Developer Robomodo president Josh Tsui announced the news today in a post on the PlayStation Blog. The content comes in the form of three character heads: Ratchet, Sweet Tooth, and Sackboy.

It is unclear if the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will also receive exclusive content. We’ve followed up with Activision in an attempt to find out.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will also have various retailer-specific preorder bonuses, including a “Totally Rad ’80s Pack” for GameStop and “Hawk Skull Board” at Amazon.

In addition, Robomodo today confirmed that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5′s online mode uses dedicated servers to power its multiplayer freeskate mode that supports up to 20 players. You can read more about the game’s online mode through GameSpot’s coverage from E3 2015.

The Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 release date is set for September 29 across Xbox One and PS4. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, which are missing some features from their current-generation counterparts, will be released sometime later.
